a musical "portrait" of the year 1492, features
as soundtrack The Waverly Consort's CD, 1492: Music
from the Age of Discovery. Filmed on location in Spain
at the Alhambra at Granada, the great Mosque and Synagogue
of Córdoba, the old University at Salamanca,
the Cathedral at Seville, and the Royal Palace at Barcelona,
the program traces the events of that historic year
and brings them to life with great works of music, architecture,
and art of Renaissance Spain.
